- number one, this is basically a rewrite of the events in the goldfinch movie!! well, the events that happened when boris and theo were young! except they aren't REALLY young, i'm making them eighteen in this book due to an event in the book that i'm going to write in!!
- number two, both boris and theos dads are (canonically) abusive. and, (in this au) both of their dads and xandra work for days in a row, and are hardly home.
- number three, none of these characters belong to me!! this story is based from the movie / book The Goldfinch, by Donna Tartt. the movie is directed by John Crowley!
