Most people mistake me not being religious for me being an atheist and I guess it's something I should clear.
I left the church, not because it's a wrong way of life but because of the ways at which it's mostly presented whereby the importance (real truth) is being sidelined and the focus is on the lesser truth. I was disappointed that the religious space focus on the flesh than the spirit and that was my reason for leaving.
I love God. I just needed a place where his truth would be taught. I wanted a family and not just a gathering. I wanted that atmosphere that'll make me feel so close to God.
It seemed like I'll never return to church but thanks to CCI and Apostle Emmanuel Iren for giving me that space that I wanted. Where the truth of God is being taught. Where your spirit man is awakened and where you feel loved.
Finding my way back into that joyful family is one of the best things to happen to me.
