Alice Bennett was a dreamer, with her head in the cloud. She was too focused on what life in her head looked like to stop and realize what the world around her looked like.
She hadn't always been this way, but when her parents got divorced suddenly her life became surrounded by the world. "You are too loud like your dad." Or "you are too clingy like your mom." Changed the way she was. Loud became quiet, clingy became distant, and being present in the real world became non existent. It was a way to cope.
But was that really a way to live?
Well but it was the best way to not be a mixture of everything her parents hated about eachother. She had grown to accept who she was... until...
Her sunny California became a rainy place in England. She had become stuck in a home with her dad and brother after her mom go re-married and kicked them to the streets. It got harder to pretend that nothing was changing and that everything would be alright.
Until Truham's golden boy with a dumb smile and pretty eyes came into her life and showed her that living in the moment, was a lot more interesting than the dreams in her head.
