You walked through the woods, hips swaying ever so slightly as you jammed to the song So Far Away by Avenged Sevenfold. You sang along quietly, so quiet it was almost a whisper.

Strange things did happen here, no stranger would it be, if we met at midnight in the hanging tree.

You continued to walk, not really paying attention to your surroundings. That is, until you tripped over a fairly large root. A root that any person would notice if they payed attention.
"Ow fuck!" You yelped when you made collision with the hard ground.

You slowly looked up when you heard something. You immediately gasped and gagged, clenching your chest tightly.
