~Eddie's POV~

 Eddie paced back and forth in his bedroom, looking at a piece of paper in his hand that had a certain pretty boy's number on it. He had gotten the number from Robin. She had made him promise not to say where he got the number. He continued to pace, debating on texting him.

Eddie continues to pace his room as he thinks. He decides to say fuck it. He pulls his phone out of his pocket. He adds the number to his phone. He opens his messages and starts a text.

Eddie:

Hey. How's it going?

Eddie sends the text, waiting for a response. He had put the number under Pretty Boy. Eddie's phone goes off, seeing he had a text back.

Pretty Boy:

Hello? Who is this?

Eddie:

I can't tell you that.

Yet.

Pretty Boy:

Why not?

Eddie:

Because you might hate me

Pretty Boy:

You won't know

Unless you tell me

Eddie:

I'm not ready to tell you who I am

Pretty Boy:

How did you get my number?

Eddie:

We have a mutual friend

Pretty Boy:

Who is our mutual friend?

Eddie:

I'm not allowed to say

Eddie sat on the side of his bed wondering if playing a guessing game would work. He looks at his phone. He texts back.

Eddie:

You can guess who it is

Pretty Boy:

That works

I will ask yes and no questions

Eddie:

Perfect!

Pretty Boy:

Have they graduated?

Eddie:

No

Pretty Boy:

Have I known them for a long time?

Eddie:

Yes

Pretty Boy:

Is this person a guy?

Eddie:

No

Pretty Boy:

Is this person a girl?

Eddie:

Yes

Pretty Boy:

Is it Nancy?

Eddie:

No

Pretty Boy:

Is it Max?

Eddie:

No

Pretty Boy:

Is it Robin?

Eddie:

....

Pretty Boy:

Robin gave you my number?

Eddie:

Please, don't tell her you know!

She will have my head!

Pretty Boy:

Are you scared of Robin?

Eddie:

Yes!

Aren't you?

Pretty Boy:

Sometimes, yeah.

So I can understand why.

Eddie:

Yeah

Pretty Boy:

Well, I need to get some sleep

I have work tomorrow

Eddie smiled at his phone. He put it on his nightstand and went to bed.
