It took Reyna a whole day to become conscious but when she did, she was bombarded with questions.
"How are you?" "Are you okay? "Does anything hurt Reyna?" "Do you need something?"
"God I think I was more at peace being dead." Reyna said out loud when the questions halted and she heard many chuckles
"Are you okay flame? Do you want me to call the doctor?" Jack Claire asked her, using her nickname and holding her hand
Reyna was feeling quite better now that she was not dying or bleeding but currently, her major worry was her baby girl. She was terrified that perhaps she didn't make it.
"I'm alright Dad but where is my...where's my baby? Is she okay?"
"Why don't you see for yourself." Theo spoke as everyone in the room moved out of the way her Mom stepped in front with a little bundle in her arms
Reyna eyes were on the blanket as tears surged through her eyes. Her mother walked to her daughter.
Jenna carefully positions her granddaughter in her daughter's arms.
Reyna held her daughter and glanced down at her. And wow, she is so beautiful. Happy tears filled her eyes.
She never believed she could be the happiest in the world but right now, holding her daughter, a piece of herself in her arms, this was pure bliss and Reyna was so glad that she was here.
"Oh my god, she...she is so perfect." Reyna says, she uses her right hand to touch her cheeks and just then the baby opens her eyes
"Oh, she's opening her eyes." Elena says and goes to stand by her sister and look down at her niece
Beautiful brown eyes stared back at Reyna, the same color, her daughter had her eyes, the same ones she shared with her father.
"She has your eyes, Reyna." Jenna says looking at her granddaughter
"She's so pretty, do you have a name yet?" Caroline ask
"I do."
"Well, then what's with secrecy? spit it out." Caroline says as Reyna laughs
"Rosalind after Rose." Reyna says as she looks at her daughter who looks back at Reyna with her beautiful big doe eyes and a small smile caressing her face
"Rosalind Jenna Claire," Reyna says and everyone cheers and smiles. Her friendship with Rose is so strong that she named her daughter after her
"Welcome to the world Rosie, you are going to be loved so much." Reyna whispers to her little girl
