Prologe

A woman in rags ran through the streets the police not so far behind . She had a baby wrapped in cloth held tightly in her arms . The woman hid behind a building and laid the baby down . The woman took out a syringe and a needle and nervously tried to get the needle into the syringe bottle and accidentally jabbed the needle in her finger she bit her lip hard in pain and finally got the needle in the bottle and filled it up . Her head shot up as the sirens got closer she looked down at her precious , sleeping baby girl and put the needle into its neck ,
The baby started to cry and reach for its mother . The mother started to tear up and let the baby catch her finger she kissed its head and ran . A police man ran down the ally but stopped when he heard the baby's cry . He slowly walked over to it and looked around before picking the baby up it stopped crying when he held it . He smiled at it and looked around . The mother was lingering behind the corner of the building
" one day my darling , we will meet again " she promised and disappeared into the night

~~later that night at the police station~~
" oh come on Jackson " an older man scoffed " you can't take care of a child." Jackson frowned and looked down at the baby
" I can " he protested but the older man came over and snatched the baby away from Jackson , as soon as he held the baby she started to cry he looked worried and gave it back to Jackson the baby soon calmed down .
" why does it like you ? You've never held , let alone had ,a child in you life!" The old man exclaimed
" I don't know captain " Jackson said smiling down at the baby , she giggled and reached for him he smiled and gently rocked the baby . He looked at captain with pleading eyes
" I'll take good care of her " he said and the captain sighed and waved his hand at him
" fine " he sighed and Jackson smiled and looked down at the baby again.
"Ivy " a voice whispered in his ear he looked around
"Ivy " he echoed and smiled at the name
