Tuesday morning November 9th 1983,
Jason Blossom hadn't been heard from since Sunday the 6th,his sister Cheryl grew most worried amongst all, will Byers a student at Hawkins middle school had also disappeared.

His brother jonathan Byers was desperately searching with no sign he was hanging posters on the school board,Cheryl approached and laid a hand on his shoulder.

'It's ok Jonathan I'm sure he's ok she also felt worried for her brother but wouldn't let the negative thoughts harm her she was hopeful.

Steve and his group of friends were laughing at Jonathan all but Nancy and Barbara who were more embarrassed.
As Cheryl walked pass them Steve stopped her 'Hey Cheryl wanna join us? Party at my house tonight' Steve shrugged. 'It's just some of us hanging out, my parents are out of town.'

Her  heart stopped for a moment he finally noticed her, was it her makeup or perhaps the outfit ? Who cares she accepted.
She didn't care that they had exams she was gonna have fun with the boy she loved.

'Mmh, I'm always up for a party, Harrington. See you tonight then,' Cheryl chuckled, trying to play it cool.

Later that evening Nancy and Barbara were on their way to Steve's place for a party. Nancy was excited to see her crush and spend some time with him. However, Barbara was not too thrilled about the idea.

As they walked, Barbara couldn't help but voice her concerns. 'He just wants to get in your pants, Nancy,' she said, making things awkward. Nancy stopped in her tracks and turned to face her friend.

'No, he doesn't,' Nancy replied firmly. 'It's just a party, Barb. You're worrying too much.'

Barbara sighed, not convinced. 'Can I drive now, Nanc?' she asked, hoping to change the subject.

'No, we're gonna walk to his place,' Nancy replied, determined to stick to their original plan. 'Plus, it's only three blocks from here.'

Another party Another damn party Cheryl folded her arms and bite her lip as Steve opened the door for them.

A few minutes later As Steve showed off his skill of opening a beer can with a knife, Nancy couldn't help but roll her eyes. It was such a cliché move and she wasn't impressed.

But Steve didn't seem to mind her teasing and continued to joke around. Nancy couldn't resist the opportunity to try it herself and encouraged Barb to join in.

Cheryl cringed at how much Nancy tried to win Steve's favour..but she didn't have to he already liked her that's what hurt.

But as Barb hesitantly attempted to cut open the beer can, she ended up cutting herself instead. Feeling embarrassed, Barb ran to the bathroom,Nancy felt guilty.

As Tommy and Carol splashed into the pool, Steve couldn't resist joining in on the fun. He quickly jumped in after them, causing a big splash that drenched everyone nearby.

Cheryl, who had been sitting on the edge of the pool watching, couldn't help but laugh at their antics. She decided to join in on the fun, grabbing her friends who were lounging nearby and pulling them into the pool with her.

As they all laughed and teased each other, it was clear that this party was exactly what they all needed. They had been so caught up in the stress of their daily lives, but in this moment, nothing else mattered. They were able to let loose and just enjoy each other's company.

Carol and Tommy began to playfully chase each other around the pool, splashing and laughing as they went. Steve and Cheryl joined in.

After a while, they all went inside to get dried off,Tommy even hinted he was gonna get intimate with Carol on Steve's parents bed.

Meanwhile Steve and Nancy were also getting ready to make love in his room.

Nancy, lost in the moment, didn't even notice Barb leaving. She was about to kiss Steve when she heard a knock on the door. It was Barb, looking hurt and upset.

'Nancy, I think I should just go home,' Barb said, interrupting them.

Nancy was embarrassed, she hadn't even realized that Barb had left. She quickly apologized to Steve and rushed after Barb. But as she stepped outside, she didn't see Barb anywhere.

Worried, Nancy stopped Steve from coming any closer. 'Hey Steve, listen,' she began to panic, 'I think I should go.'

'What? But Nanc, we just got started,' Steve stated, confused.

'I know, I'm sorry. Tonight was fun,' Nancy said, putting her top back on and rushing downstairs.

Steve escorted her out as her mom arrived to pick her up. Her mom had disappointment in her eyes as Nancy got in the car without a word.

Steve was annoyed, he slammed the door and went out back. He rolled his eyes as he heard Tommy and Carol going at it again.

Steve walked out onto the pool deck, the cold breeze and the moonlight glistening on his skin. He pulled a chair over to the side, his gaze meeting with Cheryl's who was already sitting there to the right.

'Want one?' he asked, gesturing to hand her a beer.

'Yes please ' she responded, smiling as he sat down next to her. 'All alone out here?'

'Yeah,' he sighed. 'Just needed some time to myself.'

'What's wrong, Steve? You seem upset,' she asked, concern lacing her voice.

'It's nothing,' he replied, but Cheryl could tell there was something bothering him. 'Is it Wheeler?' she muttered, referring to Nancy.

'Yeah,' Steve admitted. 'She led me on and then just left. I guess she wasn't ready for a relationship after all.'

Cheryl rolled her eyes. 'Well, you two were keeping it a secret for a reason.'

'Enough about me what about you Cheryl? got any guys in mind'. Steve inquired.

'Well, there is this one boy I've met,' she interrupted, a small smile forming on her lips. 'he's perfect. he's funny and a douche at times, but I can't help but like him.'

'Does he know?' Steve teased.

'No, he doesn't know yet,' cheryl replied, taking a sip of her beer.

'You want a towel or something? You look like your freezing'. Steve offered.

'Yes, that would be nice,' Cheryl mumbled, grateful for his concern. He got up and brought her a towel, insisting on helping her put it on.

'So, Cheryl, why are you even out here? I mean, everyone is inside or doing stuff and your out here alone,' Steve groaned.

'I haven't heard from my brother in a while it's difficult without him thornhill is an awful place Steve..' she said bitterly.

'Nah, it's not your fault your parents are assholes. Mine are too, so we have something in common,' Steve joked, trying to lighten the mood.

He took another sip of beer before pulling Cheryl's chair closer to his. 'What are you-' she started to ask, but he cut her off by pulling her face into a kiss.

She broke the kiss' what are you doing?' She questioned, both of them breathing heavily.

'Just enjoying your company's he teased,Cheryl blushed not hiding her embarrassment.

'We should probably go inside before those two idiots see us,' he suggested, pulling her hand and standing up.

'Yeah, we should. What are you doing?' Cheryl laughed as he grabbed her wrist and pulled her inside.
