Are you the Chosen Darkling?
Every year, we hope to hold this celebration of dark fantasy content on Wattpad through a contest meant for completed novels. This 2023, we will be opening the doors to search for the next chosen darkling who will dazzle us with their wonderfully dark world and story.
What do you have to do? Simple. You check if your completed novel is eligible, and you enter it using the form we will provide. Remember to tag your story with to make other participants and readers find it.
There will be no hard number of winners that will be chosen. The judges reserve the right to choose more than one every year. There are no ranks or places, either. If you become a chosen darkling this year, it means you are equally worthy and that you've made our judges love your entries for all possible reasons. There will also be surprise awards that we will not announce, but they are totally there!
