Have you ever thought, at least for a second, that fate might exist? Have you ever wondered if the random stranger on the street that bumps into you could be your future best friend? Have you ever wondered what might have happened if you made a different decision? This story proves it true for what had to happen for these two people to love was truly improbable if fate were not involved.

Our story starts with a girl, a very young girl. She was only 8 years old when it began. Her life had not even remotely begun. All of her siblings had attended a charter school called The American Academy of the Arts.

Allie loved the school she went to. Lakeview Elementary was the place to be in Spanish Heights Colorado. She had friends there Oak and Brynn and even Sarah by extension. She had lived in the same place all her life. It just made sense to go to Lakeview and it was great. Well unless you counted some of the kids there who just loved making fun of her. She could handle it though, she always had. Allie was an extrovert through and through she loved starting clubs and running outside with her siblings. Some people may have thought she was a bit too extroverted, but still she was happy and determined to stay that way. Her sister had recently been accepted to The American Academy of the Arts. Allie thought it was a bit of a long winded name, but her sister, Sage, seemed to like it all the same. Apparently Allie had been accepted as well and her Mother had asked her if she wanted to go. "Of course I do. I can't wait to walk to school like Rory and Zach". Allie's Mom smiled down at her. "You know you can't do that for another few years right?" her Mom asked. Allie looked a bit confused but nodded, "I guess". So it was to Allie's surprise when she found out that her Mother had not meant for her to go in 7th grade but in 3re grade. The very next year. So Allie had to say goodbye to Oak and Sarah. She would still see Brynn often as they lived in the same neighborhood and went to church together. So, without even a moment to think, Allie left familiarity behind.

Soon enough it was August 2015 and Allie started school at The American Academy of the Arts, or AAA for short. Nervously she approached the campus for the first time as a student. She had been there almost since it opened back when her older siblings were all going there. She looked around at all the other kids standing around in red, white, blue, and black polo shirts. The uniform there wasn't exactly a uniform, more like a stricter dress code. Allie walked with her Mom down the hall towards her teacher's classroom. When they got near the purple door of the classroom, Allie heard the muffled cries of someone around the corner. She turned to see a mother and daughter hugging on the bench in the small hall next to the classroom. The girl looked about Allie's age with short blonde hair and a red polo shirt. Her face was streaked with tears and she shook from sobbing, Allie didn't really pay attention to what her Mom was saying to the other parent. She just looked at this girl. "You guys can go in together if you want," Allie's Mom said taking Allie out of her head. "Yeah I'm new here". "Me too," said the girl, "my name is Riley".

When Allie finally walked into the classroom she was instantly excited. A tapestry, yeah a tapestry, covered one entire wall. It depicted a large castle with knights and ladies all over. In the back of the classroom was a reading nook with three large purple beanbags. She made her way to the back of the classroom and took a seat looking around at all the people around. Riley sat down beside her and just sort of sat there nervously. Most of the kids didn't really catch Allie's attention. The few that did didn't seem to take any notice of her. A taller boy with a tidy cut of blonde hair. A very short boy with a blonde messy bowl cut. A girl a little taller than her with dark short hair and a goofy smile. She was especially intrigued by a boy about her height with short red hair and an oblivious stare that made you think that he wasn't aware of your presence. Finally her eyes landed on a shorter boy with longer dark hair and the most stunning blue eyes she had ever seen. He wore a black polo and seemed to purposely mess up his hair as he walked in. She stared at him as he walked to his seat and continued to stare as he started chatting with some of his friends. She suddenly felt very nervous and shaky. Maybe this was what Riley was feeling too. That would make sense, it was just first day nerves.
