In a day of devastastation the people who cause this plague had fled to a different country thinking it would stop them, but it didn't. Rotten air had consumed the earth taking everyone in its path this has now given these 'higher people' power,so the people would depend on them just to survive.
Lots of people did die on this day, some barely survived the only thing they could do was try and make it in this corrupt world. People had to wear gas masks everywhere they went things became over prices opportunities had started to diminish and nothing was helping.
No one had a choice but to fall in line and most of all they needed to stay
