If I were a flower, would I bloom?
Even on cloudy days surrounded by gloom?

Starlights shine up above beyond my reach.
In between the branches dangles a peach.

Down by the Moore, I would grow free.
A beautiful soul radiates from the mother tree.

A smell of dew haunts the air.
A wild cat creeps without a care.

Oh, farmhouse, why do thee spare?
A scarecrow could even scare the bear.

For the miles and miles of corn
A deception of looks, I must warn!

The moon glistens upon the top of the lake.
The wolf missed his howl; he had to flake.
