DAENYS TARGARYEN had been born a second daughter of KING VISERYS the Peaceful and his first wife, AEMMA ARRYN. As a child, she was known for her mischievous and soft-spoken nature, a noticeable difference compared to her older sister, the PRINCESS RHAENYRA, who was known for her straight-forwardness. Referred to as the REALM'S FLOWER in her youth, DAENYS ( also referred to as DANY with those she was closest too ) was seen as a rose in a garden full of daisies, the lone star in the empty night sky, a flame in the coldest of winters; her beauty was sang and praised throughout the Realm, and in particular, by her only uncle, the PRINCE DAEMON, or rather known as the ROGUE PRINCE who had a unusual softness for his young niece.
Known for her thoughtful and kind nature, her perfect life begins to crack as her mother and brother pass forcing her father to remarry and forced to have more children. Upon the announcement of the KING's second wife, the ALICENT HIGHTOWER, the princess' world seems to dim as she realises everything is changing around her and not for the good.
As tensions begin to rise, DAENYS finds herself losing herself as she prepares the heartbreak of loss that is more painful than death ( she claims ). But with a determined heart full of anguish, she vows to protect her family despite it already being written in fate.
