A few minutes later, Hen was sitting in the car, and Ashleigh kneeled beside Chimney.

"Airways sounds good." Hen said.

"What's your pain level?" Asked Ashleigh.

"Not much pain. Uh, I don't think there's any spinal damage. I can feel my legs, but when I try to move my head..." Chimney says.

"Don't!" Ashleigh, Hen, and Buck shouted.

"Keep still." Said Bobby.

"What's going on? Wh... wh... what aren't you telling me, Baby Gilbert? Shouldn't you be cutting me out of here?" Chimney asked.

"It's complicated." Ashleigh said.

"Why?" Asked Chimney.

"You've been injured, Chim." Ashleigh tells him.

"Well, how bad is it?" Chimney asked.

"It's not good." Buck says.

Ashleigh, Bobby, and Hen all gave him a look.

"Well, I wanna see it." Said Chimney.

"No, you don't." Ashleigh said.

"Yeah, I do, Baby Gilbert, show me." Chimney tells her.

"All right." Ashleigh says, signing softly and taking out her phone.

Ashleigh takes a video of him.

"Are you ready?" Asked Ashleigh.

"Show it to me." Chimney said.

"Holy crap. How come I'm not dead?" Chimney asked.

"Because you are the luckiest and unluckiest son of a bitch on the face of the earth all at the same time." Ashleigh said.

"Hey, uh, you guys, I can't even feel this." Chimney says.

"I know." Ashleigh said.

"All right, well, please get me out of here before I start to..." Chimney tells them.

"We're working on it." Bobby tells him.

A few minutes later, Ashleigh was putting a neck brace around Chimney's neck.

They secured Chimney in the car.

"Hey, Buck. How's the car, man? Is it a total loss?" Asked Chimney.

"Nah, man, you... probably buff most of that out." Buck tells him.

They got Chimney to the hospital, and Ashleigh pushed the bed.

"We'll take him from here."

"Wha... no, we're not leaving his side." Ashleigh says.

"Are you family?"

"Ash, our job ends here at these doors, like always." Bobby said, putting his hand on her shoulder.
