Hestia is born in a world that heavily relies on
fire, and she can control it. The twist ? She's deathly afraid of as a result in a accident that killed her parents.
( parents died in a fire despite THEM being able to control it as well )

Outside of the flames reach is a land ridden with monsters, mercy bestowed by the sun goddess.
Hestia is a fire-elf a race that is rapidly declining a priestess for the sun goddess. Not only that the flame is starting to  go out. Hestia must go out on a quest to learn how to rekindle the fire and get over her fear of fire or her home will be destroyed.
Timeline
There is a man at an orphanage with a little boy in his lap. He opens a book and begins reading the story...
At the temple
Fire going out
Leaves temple/city on adventure
Meets assassin( he helps her understand how the outside actually is)
She is attacked by monsters and is forced to use her fire. However it backfired and almost burns down the village housing her
She leaves
Finds slave trader( gets mad and burns it down)
Starting to get known as flame of Justice idk
Frees slave one stays behind and tags along
As she is healing form attacks she becomes tired and decides to abandon her hometown.
Settles down at village on the outskirts with the assassin and kid
Time skip 23-25(6)
Monsters attack village
Starts traveling to hometown for safety(attacked a bunch while traveling)
Realized nothing will be safe if she can't rekindle the fire
Moral dilemma between staying with what's comfortable or fighting
Monsters invade and she uses fire goes out of control

Reaches hometown
It is safe for a period of time
Monsters breach the wall and the fire almost goes out
Assassin,Kid,Hestia spilt up to protect the city
BOOM
there is an explosion in yeh direction of kid and assassin
Hestia runs over frantic and finds then dead
She cries uncontrollably holding their bodies and beefing the Sun goddess for it to be untrue
As she hears the screams of the shrieks of tue people around her she realizes that it is TRUE
She gets furious
cool transformation with fire burning away to reveal
Fights w/ controller of monsters
Purifies them ( burn it away)
Adrenaline goes away as the fight ceases she starts sobbing again
Seeing the rubble from her fight she wipes her tears and goes to help the people
Timeskip? Idk yet
You see the city shining the temple built back up the white marble columns restored
There are citizens outside seemingly singing a tale of the brave elf?
You pass stain windows depicting the story in the temple
As the sound of the bustling town fades away you are met with a peaceful scene
Birds chirping sunlight shining in you see sparks and a crackle of the fire slowly entering the scene
It zooms into a woman sitting next to a fire her silhouette in shadow
As she gets up her white robes drag after her and you can clearly see she is an influential person
The woman begins walk to a large balcony
Pushing the wide doors open and a stream of sunlight reveals her face
Hestia
Her face is hidden by a sheer veil and she is looking down on a crowd cheering and chanting her name
Hestia slightly smiles before delivering a thank you speech and for every one toe enjoy the festival For the anniversary of the defeat of the monsters
Instead of following Hestia you see a little boy running into a crowd and enjoying the festival
The book ends
Or
You follow Hestia waking away from the noisy festival and see her sitting next to a tree
She starts taking about her day and let's her head fall against the tree
Transition
To the man and the child reading the book.
"Is that how the story ends?"-Child
The kid seemed dissatisfied by the ending wondering why Hestia had to suffer so
The man beside him begins to tell him it was how life worked for development
The little boy starts nodding off and the man ticks him in
The end
Explanation:
The assassin and kid are reincarnated at the request of Hestia and are the people reading her story
The book is given by a mysterious librarian (aka how all the stories are connected)

Important details: the child asked if The assassin and Hestia were to choose to be his parents again despite knowing what he is like
They respond saying they would choose to be his parents every life
This is proved tru when the Assassin adopts the child in their next life
