brothers best friend

dinner.

dinner was quiet that night.

aurora picking at her food and downing her wine just to refill it. small conversation between her mother, brother and boyfriend and forks scraping on plates were the only sounds echoing the dining room.

"aurora, eat." narcissa spoke putting her knife and fork down.

"m not really hungry, ma"

"i dont care, we dont waste food in this house"

"ma please-"

"you said you wouldn't involve in any arguments aurora, eat your dinner"

theo interlocked their ankles under the table

aurora took another sip of her wine before a bite of her food.

"hm, ma?"

"yes, aurora?"

"wondered something"

"what would that be?"

"when are we next to see auntie andy?"

"you have an auntie called andy? isnt that a muggle mans name?" theo asked amused

"andromeda, is my sister, theo. shes a daft woman. wont see her for a while, unless you visit without me"

"fine by me"

aurora takes a few more bites of her food before deciding shes done

"wasnt that hard now, was it?"

"thanks ma." she rolled her eyes

"you may be excused"

draco stands and presses a kiss to his mothers cheek before walking out of the room

"ma can theo st-"

"yes he can stay in your room. as long as i dont end up with grandchildren just yet"

"youd love for me to have a child"

"once youre married, yes"

"goodnight ma" aurora kisses her mothers cheek, the opposite side to where draco had and waited for theo as he kissed narcissas hand, bidding her a goodnight and a thank you.

the two walked upstairs to auroras room. theo flopping onto her bed almost immediately and rory giggling to herself about it.

"whats so funny?"

"you"

"thank you, amore"

aurora changed into some long legged silk pyjamas as theo changed into some plad grey sleep trousers, remaining shirtless

"im so tired"

"im not suprised, the amount of wine you drank"

"im usually worse" she smiled softly and kissed his lips gently

"i dred to think"

"im not that bad!"

"sure, darling, sure"

the pair finished their night routine before climbing into bed, wrapping themselves up in eachothers arms and falling asleep almost instantly.
