Payten: knock yourself out.
Maxwell: thanks.
Payten: mmhmm.
Maxwell: you new around these parts?
Payten: what makes you think I'm new?
Maxwell: well, I've lived here for almost two years, and I've never seen you before.
Payten: you know everyone in this town?
Maxwell: absolutely not, but someone like you would of definitely stood out to me.
Payten: someone like me? What is that supposed to mean?
Maxwell: look around you, you're the most beautiful woman in this bar.
Payten: (laughing) you ain't shit.
Maxwell: well, am I lying? If you were me, would you be interested in that gorilla over there?
Payten: listen, you are not about to have me pee on myself in here, okay? (Laughing)
Maxwell: okay, but I'm not going to make any promises.
Payten: hi, I'm Payten Charles... (extending her hand out for a handshake)

Payten: wait... author Maxwell Silver?
Maxwell: yup, in the flesh.
Payten: I knew you looked familiar, you live out here?
