"ok maybe we aren't on the same page most days-" I say following minho outside
"due to your not so firm grasp on reality." he says "hey!" I say offended but he just laughs in my face cause of the look on my face. so I just stare at him
he's finally stopped cause of how serious I look. he sighs "ok... go on"
"ok what I'm saying is I will be willing to go to the mall to pick out birthday gifts for madelyn for you." madelyn is lee know's girlfriend.
"no, you don't have to do that see I already got her something" he says holding up a paper bag. "well then let me see" I say holding out my hand. "no!" he says "why not!" I ask "cause knowing you, you will make fun of me til I die" minho says "oh keep up it's what i've been doing since I met you" I say "..fine" he says taking out a candle out the bag.
"huh... you got her a candle..." I say trying not to laugh "ok haha you can laugh now" he says sarcastically. "minho.." I say chuckling "you cannot give her this." I say he finally admits "yea I know.." "no like seriously this candle almost looks miserable" I say looking at it "it's just.. you know the last time i bought someone a gift? never thats when" he says "I can..tell" I say looking at the candle once more.
he seriously had no intention of giving her that did he?
"ok but anyways let me see your credit card and I will go to the mall and pick out something, what does madelyn like?" I ask "I don't know uhhh books, cute decor, and plushies" he says "got it, be right back" I say smiling taking his card "kill me now" he mumbles.

I walk into the dorm where me and my 8 friends live with my arms being weighted down with bags on bags of stuff I got full of the gifts for minho to give to madelyn.
minho hears my evident struggle to even make it through the door way. once he sees me he gets all grumpy looking which is still so funny to me after all these years.
"laya what the hell is this?!?" he asks walking over to me as I set the bags on the dining table. "you will never believe the amazing things I saw today" I say. "wha-" he says but I stop him "ok now sit down for the haul I'm about to give you" I say sitting him down excitedly "ok first for maddie I got her a book" I take the book out the bag and hand it to minho "the bell jar?" he says reading the title then looking back up at me "when I was hanging out with madelyn she had told me the bell jar was the book she's been really meaning to read recently."
"so you got her this?" he asks "no! you got her this remember I'm not dating her, you are." I continue showing my little haul to minho.
"and OH MY GOD I went into a men's store and they had the most amazing suits ever ugh you will not believe" I say "sounds nice" he says in a rude, sarcastic way, typical minho.
"sooo that's why I got you one!" I say grabbing the suit and handing it to minho. "laya you did not just buy me a suit" he says "oh I definitely did" I say smiling. he sighs "I don't wear suits." he says "well have fun going to your dinner in sweatpants, that'll really set you off to be people's highlight of the night." I joke "ok! ok! if you shut up I will take the suit and wear it out with maddie tonight" he says "really!?" I ask gasping but was met with a shush by minho, I quiet down. He sighs letting me know he finally gave in with the whole suit thing. "yesss!!" I say
I grab the suit and hand it to him "now go in your room and try the pants and shirt on" I say minho sighs and takes the pants and shirt "please remind me why I talk to you" he says "bee..cause i've been by your side since middle school and you can't do anything about it now since we're in our 20's??" I say "right" he says and goes to try on the clothes I got him.
"don't forget to give me my credit card!!" he yells "I got it right here now come out." he then opens the door and to my surprise looks really good. "oh I'm sorry how did you get in this house?" I joke "very funny." he says
"oh come onn you look good!! madelyn will love it" I say analyzing the outfit. "I guess." he says "seee your already warming up to it, much more better than those sweatpants right?" I ask "I'm gonna go change now" he says. "jeez with that attitude I have no idea how maddie can resist." I yell
