As I steered the car towards Anfield, the iconic stadium looming ahead, my nerves threatened to overwhelm me. With my mother and sister in the car with me, the tension was palpable, each of us consumed with anxiousness for the upcoming Liverpool vs Fulham match.
"I can feel your nerves from here, Gracie," my mother remarked, her voice tinged with concern.
"I know I'm trying to stay calm, but it's hard" I admitted, my hands gripping the steering wheel tighter.
"Everything will be fine, sweetheart," my mother reassured me, turning to my sister in the backseat for support.
"Yeah, don't worry, your man will win! Now turn up the music!" my sister chimed in, trying to lighten the mood.
With their encouragement, I pushed aside my worries, focusing instead on the thumping beat of the music filling the car as we made our way to the stadium. The anticipation of the game ahead drowned out my nerves, replaced by a sense of excitement.

As we entered the stadium, the air crackled with anticipation. Surrounded by Trent's family, we took our seats just as the match was about to begin. The first half was an absolute rollercoaster, with Liverpool scoring two screamers to level the score 2-2.
During the break, Marcell and I exchanged worried glances, knowing that the second half would be a tough battle. Our fears came to light when Fulham struck again in the 80th minute, sending a wave of suffocating despair through the stadium.
But just when all hope seemed lost, Anfield erupted in a deafening roar as Endo equalised in the 87th minute. Suddenly, I found myself on the edge of my seat, heart pounding with anticipation.
In a heart-stopping moment less than a minute later, Darwin delivered a perfect cross and Kostas' header fell to Trent's feet. With a surge of adrenaline, he unleashed a thunderous strike into the back of the net.
I leaped to my feet, screaming with joy as Marcell and I embraced, swept up in the euphoria of the moment. The Anfield crowd went wild, knowing that victory was within reach. And as Trent, our scouse hero, sealed the win, I observed the pride and joy in the stadium, an unforgettable moment etched in our hearts forever.

After the game ended, Trent made his way up to our box, greeted by cheers and applause from his family and mine. When he reached me, I wrapped my arms around him in a long hug, planting a kiss on his cheek as we had an audience.
"Well done for today, baby," I said, smiling up at him, pride swelling in my chest.
"Thanks, babe," he replied, his smile infectious. "I'm absolutely buzzing right now."
"You should be!" I exclaimed, squeezing his hand affectionately. "Now go and enjoy the moment with your parents. I need to get some content in this outfit, so I'll head out. I'll see you when I get home."
"Alright, love you, and be safe," Trent said, pulling me into another hug.
"I love you too," I replied, lingering in his embrace for a moment longer before reluctantly letting go.
