let's talk about progress for a second. for a while i thought that i wasn't making much progress, i loved making covers and other things but i felt like i had gotten as good as i was gonna get. that was back in 2021... i was wrong. and to show you just how wrong i was...

the cover on the left was made late December 2021 and for a while i really liked it...i no longer feel that way lol
the cover on the right was made early April 2022. there's major improvements in the placement, the detail on her face, etc.
then i let this fic sit in my drafts for ever, which sucks but i have a lot of trouble with this one. anyways, on to the most recent cover i made for theory of a broken girl...

all i can say is improvement!! the concept is better, the execution is better. the little details to her face and hair are better.
and i did draw inspiration from zcndayas and her cover for An Ode to Clark Kent
all i'm saying is, to any graphic designer out there, even if you don't see the little bits of progress that you are making, you are making progress. the more you make stuff and the more you try new techniques the better you will get. there's always gonna be small, tiny improvements in your work the more you work at it. so, if any graphic designer sees this, don't give up!!

also, this is a teen wolf / isaac lahey fic that has been in my drafts since 2021 and i'm not really sure when it will see the light of day. i do really like it and i love my characters i just can't seem to get it to a place that i'm comfortable publishing it.
