This story takes place in the Show Stopper universe, where the people are split up into two categories(?): the Pure and the Dregs. Show Stopper is a book by Hayley Barker and I guess the credit goes to her? Well, I wrote the story and made my own characters, but the universe and most characters are hers. GO READ THAT BOOK FIRST IT'S GOOD!
The Pure are people who are "pure English", while the Dregs aren't. The Pure think the Dregs are gross animals and they get treated like them. They live in the slums and are just poor. The Pure can get every job they want, while the Dregs get the ones who nobody wants.
Some Dregs live in a circus, where they get murdered for the entertainment of the Pure and get tortured and stuff.
yeeeaaah i'm not good at explaining, but I think I explained enough.
