┊ a list of niche things that george lee does
for other people.

━━━━ goes fishing with jin.

George can't say he's the biggest fishing fan. He hates it, if he's being completely honest. He finds it boring, tedious even. Having to sit for hours waiting for the off chance that a massive fish catches onto some bait, just to throw it back in the water ❪ not that he wants it to suffer ❫, it's just pointless in his eyes.

But George also knows that just because it's not his cup of tea, doesn't mean it's not someone else's. He's well aware of the enjoyment that fishing brings to others, and he's learned to keep his criticism to himself.

However much he disliked it, it didn't stop him from joining Jin on his fishing trips. He was content to kick back in the boat, savoring the view and snacking on some Haribos. Much as he loathed it, he still found joy in seeing his elder's enthusiasm everytime a fish was caught.

"You want to marry me?" George asked, plucking out a Haribo ring from the bag and holding it out to Jin, who craned his neck to peer down at it. The elder of the two yanked the ring and shoved it into his mouth.

"No."

George scoffed. "You can't reject me and then eat the diamond. It's in your stomach now, so i'll start planning—you're good with a winter wedding, right?"

Jin didn't reply, suddenly preoccupied by the huge tug on the fishing rod. Every muscle contacted and he yelped out as he mustered up the strength to pull the fish out of the water — and boy was it huge, even George gasped, scrambling to the side of the boat to get a better look.

"Blimey! It's bigger than my penis!" George's crude comment was cut off by Jin lugging the fish into the boat, just narrowly missing George's face. He wasn't sure whether it was water or fish juice that had flicked onto his face, but he didn't ponder over it for long; he was quickly sidetracked by the pure joy on Jin's face as he jumped up and down.

Proudly, George straightened up and patted Jin on the shoulder. "We did that."

The look on Jin's face was priceless, no words were needed but of course, the eldest had to go off on one of his very famous rants.

"I'll have you know, Geun. I did this alone whilst you sat back eating Haribos and cried about whales not knowing cows exist. This is MY work, not yours. You little leech! You know, I should have rejected your offer to come along with me..."

His rant faded out as George zoned out, smiling softly at his elder. Sure, he loved seeing him happy but one of the other reasons George liked to tag along was because it was exceptionally easy to get under Jin's skin... especially when it comes to fishing.

"Yah! Are you even listening to me?"

━━━━ reapplying chungha's lipstick.

Keeping their relationship on the down low, Chungha and George were quite careful to avoid being seen together in public. After a misstep that caused quite a stir, the couple knew they needed to be extra cautious if they wanted to maintain the peace of their love life. The only time that people would get to see them side by side was at small, private events where nobody present was likely gossip or snap pictures without permission.

Chungha rarely wears makeup on her casual or comfortable date nights with George, but on the off chance that she does, he will keep her lipstick in his pocket so he can always top it up for her when needed.

It all began when she refused to kiss him, much to his annoyance. Chungha didn't want to mess up her freshly applied lipstick, so George rummaged through her purse and found the shade responsible for stopping him from receiving his much deserved affection. He was desperate for a smooch and offered to reapply her lipstick in exchange for just one kiss—who was Chungha to deny him when he sat so adorably with puckered lips?
