Depths -of- Demise

You accompany my thoughts yet leave me alone.

You leave me waiting, still like a stone.

A stone you'll cast and watch as it skips.

I'm alone with the last taste of your lips.

You  left me to the mercy of the infinite dark,

As You faded away like a wandering spark.

I'm tantalized by the echo of your every  word.

My heart beat keeps the silence deterred.

Now I'm the sinking stone you've tossed.

Ripples tell secrets of where I was lost.

Farther and farther from you I am sinking,

Left with nothing but these thoughts I'm thinking.

You're far above, staring at the sea,

Adding your tears in memory of me.
