6:30 am Sunday, November 12

*Buzz*

"agg..." George mumbles slowly waking up.

I really don't want to go to work today... I knew I shouldn't have slept so late. I have to get up.

I really need to fix my sleeping schedule...

God I look like a ghost, so pale. I mean it is getting colder so that makes sense. But it's like -10 degrees in here. And the fucking heater is broken and there is no way I am paying $7,000 dollars to fix it.

30 minutes later

Shit. I'm running late. I need to hurry the fuck up. Bella is going to kill me.

At work

"Finally, George you're late! And on Sunday, it's absolutely filled with customers!" Bella says

"I know, I lost track of time," George says

"Well you better get to stocking the shelves because yesterday Hannah forgot to do it and the boss is going to kill us if she finds out!!" Bella says

"Okay! Okay!" George says

"After you're done stocking shelves come help me at checkout because there is only one other person helping me with the registers!" She shouts stressed

"I will!" George shouts back

Bella and George have become friends ever since they started working at the grocery store. They both started working on the same day. And overtime they have become pretty good friends. They relate to each other because each of them have a missing parent. George's dad left him and his mom and Bella's mom left her and her dad, when they were little.

I really do not want to be here right now. I wonder how different my life would be if I was rich? I mean if I was rich I would probably move out of my trashy apartment and buy a nicer one. I would have nicer clothes too. But most importantly I would help my mom out, she's helped me so much after all. I mean she stayed with me. She raised me. I don't think I could ever repay her honestly. She's done so much for me. I wish I could do more for her. But no I'm stuck here stocking shelves.

Don't even start with my love life. It is so complicated. I mean only at the start of my senior year, I realized I might be into guys. So I guess you could say I'm bisexual?? Not sure, the whole thing is confusing for me. But I most definitely not straight. I've only dated 2 girls in my entire life. Doesn't matter right? I'm young, only 19, I'll find love any day now. I hope. I mean if-

"Excuse me sir? Where can I find napkins?" The woman asks tapping George's shoulder

The woman caught George so off guard that he slipped off the small ladder and fell down. The box he was carrying fell down with him and hit his head.

"Oh my god! Are you okay?! I am so sorry!" She says

George's head started throbbing. George could hardly comprehend what had just happened because it happened so fast. All he could focus on was his aching head.

"Wait here I'll call one of your coworkers!"

5 minutes later

"He's over here!"

"Okay thank you ma'am, I'll take it from here!" Bella says

"George are you okay? What happened?" Bella asks

George could barely understand her.

"Mhm, my head is spinning but I'm fine. A customer just startled me and I fell and the fucking box hit my head," George said holding his head

"Okay good, I'll take you to the back and I'll get you an ice pack. Next time be more careful," Bella says

"I will. I just kinda zoned out," George says.

10 minutes later

"I need to go back now it's still super busy out there. Do you think you'll be able to keep working?" Bella asks

"Honestly, I feel light headed and my head is throbbing," George says

"Okay so I'll take that as a no. I'll tell the boss at the end of my shift what happened. You just go home and rest," Bella says

"Okay, thank you," George says

"Yeah, get better. I might drop by on Tuesday to bring you a little something. I'll see you later. Bye," Bella says walking towards the door

"Okay, I'll see later. Bye." George says
