teacher attachment refers to a 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐠, 𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭-𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐫𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩, in which students perceive their teacher as an attachment figure.
attachment figures are adults with whom a child or adolescent 𝐟𝐞𝐞𝐥𝐬 𝐬𝐚𝐟𝐞 with, who 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐲 𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐬𝐭 and 𝐬𝐞𝐞𝐤 𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐩 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦.
important is, that teacher attachment 𝐢𝐬𝐧'𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐚𝐦𝐞 as a crush and it (often) 𝐝𝐨𝐞𝐬𝐧'𝐭 𝐦𝐞𝐚𝐧 you're in love with them.
(but you can also have attachment and a little crush on them, like me)
