Scarab Abilities:
-Shared Minds
James and the Scarab can share their thoughts and emotions with each other. Marvin can talk with the Scarab telepathically, hearing it as a voice in his head, and this can also be used to block out telepathic attacks.
-Construction
The suit can construct certain objects, weapons such as swords, maces, shields, blasters, etc out of his arms for use in close combat
-Flight
The suit can sprout translucent wings, enabling him to fly, and jet propulsion which he can use to fly.
-Super Strength
The suit grants Blue Beetle-enhanced strength
-Durability
The suit has protected Marvin from the deleterious effects
-Energy blasts
The suit can transform parts of the armor into a sonic cannon or plasma cannon. The suit can also transform the chest into a larger plasma cannon.
-Sensors
The suit has a variety of sensor systems. It can produce scanner units that can be used to detect the presence of people in buildings. The Scarab also has passive sensors that can monitor other people's physiology which, along with voice analysis, allows it to tell when a person is lying or being truthful or has hostile intentions.
-Environmental Protection
The armor lets James survive in potentially hazardous areas, ranging from areas of extreme temperatures to space, to the Bleed.
-Energy Manipulation
The Scarab can use its stored energy for a variety of different abilities, like energy blasts, energy cocoons, bubbles that act as shields, solid constructs
-Independent Animation
Even while it's not attached to a host, the Scarab can move on its own
-Energy Absorption
The Scarab can absorb the energy from a blast powerful enough to hospitalize a person.
-Vibrational Frequency Manipulation
Scarab along with james can manipulate its vibrational frequency, turning him invisible and intangible at times

The suit can generate holographic images.

The suit has demonstrated the ability to translate languages for Marvin to understand

The suit can change into different forms.

The suit is capable of manipulating technology upon contact and altering its functions. This extends to the ability to link with other scarabs through tendrils

An alien device that resembles the musical instrument of the same name. However, its capacity is applied for a more offensive manner. When struck, it generates high-intensity frequency.
