Holidays

Because of you, holidays hurt.

You melt the snow,

And put out the fireplace.

You turn the red and green lights gray,

And kill the tree.

You make the cold breeze warm,

And the sugar cookies now taste bitter.

You put coal in my stalking,

And made Santa Claus feel like a bad memory,

Because of you,

Christmas lost its magic.

Because of you,

All year I mourn.

Because of you, I cry on Christmas day.
