I traded my soul for a drug,

It's so painful yet sweet.

You took away my problems,

But in the process, you took my life as well.

I felt you take away my heart,

I was too naive to realize I should resist.

I thought if i let you take it, you would patch it.

You promised you would, but once you turned around, you showed others my wounds.

You showed Sophia Burton.

Then you added more to make her laugh.

When you handed it back, you told me it was my fault for trusting you.

When i see you at school, I spend the day waiting for an apology I'll never get,

Every day I catch myself crawling back to your venom,

I long for those deep brown eyes,

The ones I'll never get.
