Diya's POV

She was trying to think something when the door of the room jerked open revealing

What you assume that it is my so called husband which is wrong

It was my Ahem–Ahem (throat clearing) Mother-in-law.

You might be thinking what she is doing here at this time.

Even I am stuck at that. And to increase my confusion  more she is holding a plate . She entered and placed that plate on the table and asked me to sit on the couch.

Even though we haven't shared a long conversation, she seems really nice and kind to me . The way she takes care of all , makes me miss my mumma more. By looking at her care and smile , I am missing my mumma even though it's been just a few hours I have left Sinha mansion but i still miss her , even missing papa , dadi, bhabhi and my bacha.

My mother-in-law told me to change into something more comfortable as I am wearing a kind of heavy lehnga with jewelry too.

She told me something that made my confusion rise more , that her son who is my husband now unfortunately had left for the office for some emergency work.

Mind explaining what work came at almost midnight,

She even said that tomorrow is the pehle rasoi rasam , to which I have to cook but she will be there to help me which somewhat calms me down .

After changing into a simple kurthi , I sat in front of her . She fed me food with her hand and I feel so warm with that.
I didn't feel that I was not in my home .

After washing her hand and grabbing the plate she turned to leave , as she was about to shut the door I don't know why but I feel like saying this so I did mummy ji , good night.  to which she smiled sweetly and left.

At least koi toh he sweet yaha
(At least someone is sweet here)

I lie on one side Tomorrow will be a new long day for me ,  i muttered and in on time fell into deep sleep.

NEXT MORNING

Author's POV

Beta uth ja aab , Diya heard her mumma's voice trying to wake her up .
(Child, wake up)

Nahi na mumma sone do , I she pulled the duvey over her head .
(No mumma, let me sleep)

Kitna soyegi , ese hi soyegi toh Saadi ke baad kya karegi ,  kya hoga iss ladki ka , her mumma scolded her.
(How much you sleep, if you sleep like this then what is going to happen after marriage, what is going to do to this girl)

Mumma bhul gayi kya kal hi toh meri saadi thi , and she jerked sat up rubbing her eye.
(Mumma, did you forget I got married yesterday)

She looked around to see that she was in a completely new room .

She realised that it was just her hearing her mumma's voice and she is not in her home anymore.

She turned to the  other side of the bed  to see an empty untouched and clean side .
He didn't come back

She checked her phone and it was 6:30 am .
