A Daisy

A name, a daisy, a name, a daisy

I saw a kind-hearted and gentle, loving and giving soul.
Always thinking to help others.
Somehow, in this disheveled world,
ostracized by her halves and one head.

I saw a lifetime of false citation
heaped on an inwardly beautiful cask.
Asked for water purification, but no time was left.
God only knows the outcome,
but the other man posted gives us hope.

The past reached out for penance, but no time was left either.
Believing fabrication and prattle only wounds those we love.

A daisy, a name, a daisy, a name.

Not sure what it meant,
But I saw innocence, purity, new beginnings, joy, and cheerfulness.

I hope to see you again one day
In a better place, a better view, a better song, and a better hue

A name, a daisy, a name, a daisy
