||Chapter 6||

'Are you dating someone?', Freddy asked the whole lunch table comes to a holt
'Maybe', I shrugged
'Who? Do we know him?', dad asked
'I am not telling anything because I want to be sure myself first. And I would like to see him alive whether we date or not', I said a little stern
'Why would we hurt him?', Stephen spoke
'Cut it now, she will tell when she sees fit', Ariel spoke pointing at all four man at the table as I gave her a small smile
My family as much as I love them can be a little overbearing and to be honest I myself am not sure about Stephen and whether if we even hold a future together

After our little lunch together, I sat down with all the kids in the backyard as Harold tells me how he want his birthday. He is really excited about it and was telling me how he wants all his friends and food. As much as I love to be the party planner for everyone but planning little Harold's birthday has always been my favourite
'Okay! my little angel but, I have to go now I will see you on your birthday', I smiled kissing his cheeks before saying my goodbye to everyone and rushing out to the car for my office.

The meeting with my team was good, it was mostly a brain storming session about advertisement and marketing. Nothing crazy but, I always like to be there.
The meeting was proceeding when my phone buzzed, I pulled my phone out and saw a message from Sebastian.

Sebastian- Hello Ms. Silvester. Care to bless me with your presence for lunch?
Me- Mr. West aren't you a flirt? A lunch sounds good but, I have a shoot. Want to join me in my office for a lunch?

After replying to him not even a second later a message popped up on my lockscreen

Sebastian- See you at 1:30 pm
Me- See you soon!

After sending him the message I gave my attention to the meeting.

I excused myself in the middle of the meeting as I have to get ready for shoot. Sitting on my glam room as my makeup teams work on my hair, face and all. This shoot is for foundation line my company will be launching in a month. After almost one hour or so I was done with my makeup so, I walked to the next glam room which could hold upto 20 models to get ready.
'Hi everyone, I am Arya Silvester', I smiled introducing myself. They waved as one by one everyone came to hug me as we talk for a bit and exchange small pleasantries.
'Thank you for shooting this campaign with me', I said
'We are so glad to work with you, its absolutely our pleasure', one of the model smiled
'The pleasure is all mine guys...I will take your leave now but, I will see you soon. There is snacks for everyone after shoot please join me there', I said
Walking to the shoot area, I shook hands with the photographer as he guided me for my solo shoot. After some clicks other models joined too.

After we wrapped up the shoot with the models, they were guided to the back room for some snacks while I did some extra clicks for social media promotion. I was in the middle of the promotion shoot when Sebastian walked in as I gave him a small wave
'Give me a second', I spoke
'Sure', he nodded while Rain offered him a chair
The photographer guided me for some shots, all the while Sebastian eyes stayed on me as I sent him a wink and he gave me a small smirk as some dark emotion linger in his eyes
'I think we are done', Albert the photographer for the campaign smiled satisfied with the pictures. Someone handed me a robe and ai slipped it over me and walked to Sebastian
'Mr. Silvester, right on time. I am impressed', I smiled
'Happy to impress you. Lunch?', he asked
'Why don't you go with Rain to my cabin, I need to talk to the models and change real quick', I said as he nodded before following her and I walked to the back room talked to the models and has few snacks with them before saying my goodbye and leaving to the glam room as I changed back to my usual outfit.
'Sorry to keep you waiting', I said rushing inside my cabin where Sebastian was patiently waiting
'No worries', he smiled
'I bought Chipotle', he said placing all the food on the table
'I was really craving it', I smiled thankfully as I pulled out the makeup wipes from the bag and removed my makeup while Sebastian placed everything on the table.

'See you later', he said
'Ya', I smiled
'By the way I wanted to ask you something?', he asked a little hesitant
'Please don't tell me you are married with three kids', I said
'Marr-ki... What? No', he answered a little horrified
'Then why are you hesitant?', I asked
'I am a little hesitant and you assume that I am married with kids. You have really wild imagination', he spoke
'Well say something bizzare that whatever next comes out of your mouth will not be crazy', I said folding my hand in front of my chest
'God Arya you are crazy but I wish if you would go to the trip with me well, it's actually my business trip so if you would tag along?', he offered
'Thanks for the offer but, I have a launch coming up so I have to be here and also my nephew's birthday is next week which I can't miss for the world', I smiled
'It's okay maybe next time we get to go on a real vacation', he smiled before getting in his car
I continued to watch his car vanish out of line if sight replaying whatever he just said now
'Your next meeting is lined up', Rain answered as I nodded before following her back inside the building

'Rain clear my schedule for next Friday and where is the gift I asked for?', I inquired
'The gift is packed and sent to your home already and I have cleared the schedule. There is this business event next month in Austin, your dad also sent the message for you to attend it', Rain said
'Yes, go ahead with it please', I nodded
'Also, is everything ready for tomorrow launch. I don't want the website to crash', I asked before getting in the car
'Don't worry the team is fully prepared for tomorrow', she nodded
'Okay, I will be home for the launch tomorrow and I hope that all the invitation have been sent?', I asked
'Ya, we also got all the RSVP', she nodded
'Great see you', I waved before getting in the car
The drive was slow as we weave our way through the traffic, the silence of our car filled with soft hum of the music playing, I closed my eyes and lay my head back.
My family's tie with the Mafia always troubled me and if I have any hope with Sebastian even to date he need not me a part of that life.
'Should I ask him?', I whispered to myself but instead I called up dad
'Hey princess', he spoke
'Hey dad, how are you?', I asked
'Good, how did you remember your old guy today', he laughed
'Can we meet? Are you at office?', I asked
'Yes. Is everything okay?', he asked
'I need to ask something, I am will be there in 10 minutes', I said
'Okay. I am waiting', he said before I cut the call
'To dad's office', I told Liam as he took a sharp U-turn

'What's up?', he asked as he sit beside me in the sofa in his office overlooking the the busy street
'Sebastian West wants to date me but before I even allow him to be near me I need to make sure he is in no way related to your field', I said
'He wants to date you?', dad spoke horror filling his eyes
'Is that what you took from this?', I chuckled
'No, absolutely not', he shook his head leaning back
'That I will decide but dad please tell me he is not part of Mafia in any way, shape or form', I asked
'No', dad answered
'Are you sure?', I asked as he nodded his head
'Thanks', I smiled
'I still don't want you to date him', dad spoke as I walked towards the door
'He is kinda cute', I smiled before leaving his office and I could hear him scream back to not talk about boys like that
My ride back to home was filled with my thoughts about Sebastian. He is cute and funny caring even and the biggest plus is that he not related to mafia not that I am against this shit, my brothers run the biggest mafia for crying out loud but because I know how violent it can be and dangerous it is. When I figured this part of my brothers life out i was a bit upset but knew this is not for me and I never want even a shadow of this on my future family.
'There seems to be a paparazzi car following us', Mike said as I turned around to indeed see a black SUV following us
'Loose them', I sighed before putting on the seatbelt
'Yes ma'am', he nodded as he increased the speed of the car
Because of vomit-worthy protectiveness of my brothers my bodyguard are trained in shit load of stuff one of which is evasive driving and I am almost sure they too are part of Mafia in some sort of way.
Finally parking inside my penthouse building was when I sighed in relief
'Are you okay?', I asked Mike
'Yes ma'am. Are you?', he asked
'I need to throw up but I think I am okay', I said before calling for the elevator
'See you', I smiled as the door closes taking me back to my sacred heaven.
'A bubble sounds nice', I said to myself just as the door slides open to my penthouse
