xiao was sitting on the couch in his and venti's shared dorm, scrolling through instagram, "so you're telling me, you caught a girl staring at you on the train?" his dorm mate inquired.
"mhm," the shorter male hummed, not really paying any attention to his wine-obsessed dorm mate.
venti opened his mouth to speak, but was quickly cut off by a knock on the door.
xiao stood up from his place on the couch and slowly opened the door, in the door frame stood a a young woman.
she was wearing a short-sleeve yellow button up shirt, a pastel blue skirt that stopped at her knees, a blue and white checkered cardigan with a small cinnamonroll embroidered close to her shoulder. two small inteyvat flower pins resting on the top her short blonde hair.
venti popped into the doorway to look at the blonde female.
"oh? hi lumine! what are you doing here?" the twin braided boy asked.
"i came to inform you two that my brother won't be able to attend your plans for today. we have to take our younger sister to the daycare at the moment." the blonde female, now known as lumine replied.
lumine then turned the other way and walked back to her dorm.
xiao closed the door after she left.
"well, i'm going to the bar!" venti exclaimed.
xiao only sighed and pulled him back into the dorm.
"whaaa!"

xiao was in the kitchen making some almond tofu.
mid-way through, he found himself thinking back to the girl on the train.

xiao looked up from his phone for a moment to catch two bright e/c eyes starring back at him.
the female to which those eyes belonged to, quickly looked back at her own phone.
without her noticing, xiao felt himself continuing to stare at her.
he looked over every part of her body that was visible. her h/l h/c hair, her e/c eyes that were no longer visible because a few strands of her hair had covered them when she looked down that quick.
xiao looked at the beautiful stranger until she got off the train, he wanted to watch more, but he didn't want to seem like a creep.

while he was making almond tofu, xiao felt his face heat up.
if teyvat was ancient greece, and he were paris, he'd give that girl on the train the golden apple of discord.
just then, venti walked into the kitchen.
"hey, xia— oh~" venti wore a smug grin as he observed his friend's face.
"xiao, your face is all red~" he stated, poking xiao's cheek.
"shut up." xiao mumbled.
"aw! come on! tell me who the lucky girl or guy is!!" venti whined, still poking xiao's cheek.
xiao stayed silent, continuing to make his almond tofu.

xiao ended up letting venti drink some wine.
so there he was, passed out, drunk and sleeping on the couch.
xiao sighed and ate his almond tofu in silence.

if you don't know what the golden apple of discord is, it's a golden apple dropped by the Greek goddess, eris, the apple was for the most beautiful and hera athena and Aphrodite all fought over it. there was this guy named Paris who was in charge of giving judgment on who the most beautiful was.
basically, what I'm tying to say, is xiao thinks y/n is pretty.
