The crisp winter of midnight and wind, howled and rustled the damp trees making it whistle and chime. As droplets of water trickled down the trees as it seemed the leaves were weeping in the cold, a small figure travelled the woods. With bare, red feet that dug into the steep snow, continued through the night with shallow breathes that'd leave a cloud of mist trail behind her. As the hour went on, the moon ever lowered, her eyes flickered around in the tenantless woodland, only occupied by three anonymous howls of distant beasts of the unknown. As if the wilderness responded, a crunch not too far away caught her ear and froze solid, as if her endurance decided to give up on her. Her ear flickered and another daunting sound seemingly coming towards her direction. The forest stood still and silence was between her and the dark silhouette slowly
becoming apparent to her. She stood her ground, only to look up at the figure that was twice the size of her. A slender, ghostly being, stood in front of her, a being with no face, and inhumanly tall. She took a step back, eyes wide and her body ready for any other movement it may try.
It spoke, an inaudible static making her eyes squint, trying to distinguish it.
