She hugged the hoodie more, taking in the scent of him, taking the last turn to the basketball court. There were eight large basketball courts, but she knew his friend group claimed the seventh basketball court, to match the seven friends in the group.
"How is it going?" Chenle questioned, taking a seat next to Jeno, sitting on the wooden bench
"I think I finished the bet," Jeno admitted proudly
"You made her fall in love with you and got Jake jealous of you?" Jaemin asked, shooting the ball in the hoop perfectly
"Well I did make him jealous but now we are on good terms I think," he answered, leaning back on the bench, stretching out his arms
"No way in my 16 years of living, I would ever hear that Lee Jeno and Sim Jake are on good terms for once," Renjun commented, sucking on a lollipop
"It's a once in a lifetime," Jisung added, causing his friend group to laugh at his joke
"How about the girl?" Haechan interrogated
"Yeah she practically whipped for me, I can say she loves me," he said in a cocky tone, acting as if he wasn't more in love with her
"Woah, did she say that?" Mark asked
"Are you going to break up with her?" Chenle questioned
"We weren't even dating in the first place. Tomorrow I'll tell her, we are over, no big deal," he said in the most confident voice.
Ironically he knew he wasn't ever going to break their relationship, but ask her to go on a date with him again. The Lee boy didn't want to lose her, nor did she want to lose him, five seconds ago
Tears rolled down her cheek, realizing her heartstrings got placed with his tricks. Her mind automatically blamed herself, for not acknowledging he was notorious for playing with girls, had a rival with Jake, and attempted to use her best friend to go against her brother. She was stupid, was what kept repeating in her mind. She took off the hoodie, throwing it by the nearby tree in disgust.
Went inside the convenience store that was across from the public basketball court. Observing the store, her eyes caught on one of the Sim boy's friends, Sunghoon and Jay.
"Yo! What's up Gaeul!" Jay exclaimed looking up from the cashier
"What happen to you?'' Sunghoon questioned, getting up from his knees, and leaving his duty of restocking the ramen packs. cupping the Tae girl's face with his warm palms. he stared deeply into her chocolate eyes
"Nothing," she answered vaguely, sniffing, gently pulling his wrists down off her face
"why are you crying then?" he questioned, leaning closer
