"Why not?!" Complained fifteen yr old Alex "Beat it kid your not old enough for this place, now scram" grumbled the bouncer who was always pissed off about something
"Hey I don't appreciate people being rude to my friends," piped up Jack "now I'm seventeen
so let me in!" He finished half calm, half annoyed
"You can, but the girl can't, and that's final" he finished gesturing for Jack to go in
"No not without Alex."
"Then leave." The bouncer who had clearly had enough muttered something under his breath inaudible to Alex
"Let's go Alex that place sucked anyway."
"Yeah I guess let's go, do you want to stay at mine tonight Jack?" Asked Alex feeling tired and a little cold it was a cool night in Sydney not windy and there was no rain they walked home chatting off and on about plans for the weekend.

When they got back to Alex's house her mum was standing at the bottom of the stairs stamping her foot impatiently with the your late face.
