Prologue

Thomas Berkley was a normal man living in the rural town of Grove City, Minnesota. That is, until he killed himself in his home. Well, that’s what the police report concluded. However, if you were close to Thomas, like Olivia Marion was, you would know that Thomas, or Tommy as Olivia called him, would never kill himself. After telling law enforcement this multiple times with no result, she decided to take matters into her own hands. First, you need a little bit of background information. Thomas and Olivia met in kindergarten, and were friends up until his untimely death. Thomas married his highschool sweetheart, Madison after dating for four years, and being engaged for one. After two years of happy marriage, tragedy struck. Madison was killed in a car accident, where her vehicle was struck head on by a drunk driver. The driver of the vehicle that hit Madison survived, and was sent to the hospital with life threatening injuries. Thomas and Madison were quite wealthy, but they preferred to keep that to themselves, not spending it all on luxury items, but rather saving it. The couple only bought what they needed, and a few extra treats every once in a while.
