Hyunwoo appeared as though he was deeply filled with regret. “This was all my fault. I shouldn’t have let you suffer so much. Taehyung, please help us beg CEO Jeon!”

Taehyung actually turned to look at jungkook. “You can’t kill them.”

If jungkook did so, he was worried their deaths would sully his hands.

Killing his wife’s family would cause bad rumours to circulate around him. He could not allow him to endure it for his sake.

Furthermore, his elder brother, yoongi, who genuinely doted on him, was still in jail. This matter was definitely related to the Kim family.

If they died, who would help him overturn his brother’s case?

Jungkook's gaze was filled with rage. He seemed to be contemplating the best method to deal with the Kim family.

Eunji immediately sobbed and appealed to taehyung. “My son, look, mom’s hand is still bandaged. It really hurts.”

Jennie also hid behind taehyung in acute fear. She wanted to change the topic and hopefully get through this.

Thus, she said, “Oh yes, mom, didn’t CEO Jeon ‘reward’ you with a bottle of red wine? You haven’t explained it to us till now. Why is your head fine, but your hand got injured?”

Eunji understood jennie's intentions and immediately explained. “When CEO Jeon's bodyguard smashed that bottle on me, I blocked my head with my left hand. My head is fine but my left hand was fractured. I had to go to the hospital to have it bandaged. There was no need for hospitalisation. I can recover after some rest, so I came home.”

Taehyung did not pay much attention to eunji's condition. It was unimportant to him. In any case, he would still have to suffer, irrespective of the hand injury.

Hyunwoo also joined the conversation. “Earlier, I was headed to the hospital to visit your mother. I never expected to bump into her at the entrance.”

Back at the blossom Cafe, how could jungkook not have known that eunji had blocked the wine bottle with her hand? But he didn’t care about this small matter.

“Thank god your head is uninjured.” jennie patted her chest as though she was frightened. “Mom, I was so worried about you.”

Taehyung smiled coldly. He obstructed their plans and brought the conversation back to the topic at hand. “Second sister, you didn’t even make the effort to visit mom at the hospital, yet you have the heart to perform this act for me now?”

“Second sister is to blame for all of this.” jennie detested taehyung for bringing the topic back up again. She had no other options and could only force herself to cry. “Third brother , we have the same blood running in our veins. You can’t watch your sister come to harm.”

Her tears always had the effect of softening a man’s heart. Whenever she cried in front of the men who were pursuing her, their hearts would ache terribly.

She had thought jungkook's heart would move for her. To her surprise, his expression remained impassive. He did not appear to be even slightly interested in her.

Eunji added to the emotional appeal as well. “taehyung ah, mom needs to rest for sometime for her left hand to recover. You can’t allow me to suffer anymore.”

“Second uncle is also old. I can’t endure this sort of suffering.” hyunwoo spoke in pain. “taehyung, please beg CEO Jeon on our behalf.”

Taehyung nodded obediently. “jungkook, you heard them. Each of my family members have their own difficulties. You shouldn’t let them suffer anymore physical pain.”
