Ms. Corkey, was in her office waiting for the first person to come and do their chair testing. Leaving the rest of the class alone probably wasn't a good idea but she did anyway. Elijah was sitting in Ms. Corkey while Logan and Jesse were standing by him. They were talking and Elijah had one of Jesse's drum stick while Logan had the other.
"Elijah, you should turn around." Logan said.
"Nah I'm good."
Jesse has just been fiddling with his fingers. It seemed like the conversation just slowed down.
"You guys wanna come over later tonight? My parents aren't gonna be home." Jesse said finally starting another conversation. Elijah looked at Logan and shrugged.
"Sure."
"I guess if Eli's going."
