LOSS. Her name carried tidal waves across Middle Earth, big enough to bring down cities, to empty them out as if nothing ever belonged there. Everyone hated her. But they knew her. And they couldn't dare escape her. No one ever could. After all, it was said that Loss followed the race of Men much like an eagle in the sky. Tracking their every move, keeping them in arms length. For when they grew too heavy with their greed, she would swoop in, and her claws would show them what truly mattered.
She followed no path. She was born solely to ensure that the cycle of life would continue. Without loss, without her, there would be no reason for hope. And a world without hope was a barren one. Driven by mindless heads with no spark of inspiration, no desires. She had given everything to keep Middle-Earth safe; yet evil managed to grow beneath it all.
And because she was connected to the roots below, it began to fester within her, too. Loss had suffered her own wrath more than the Men she dealt it upon, and a darkness swarmed her veins. The Eye of Sauron laid upon the Lady of Death, and she met his gaze. It was then when she knew, her power wasn't the only one he craved. He wanted his own returned to him. And he wanted herto be the one to do it.
For she knew Loss better than anyone.

Hello!!!! It's been a while since ive written anything, or have even been inspired to write. So that makes this book extra special. I still love TWD, don't get me wrong, but my heart is currently so driven towards fantasy worlds and this is what I want to do with that.
Now, with that being said, this is a fan-fiction! So I'll be adding stuff of my own and making changes to the LOTR universe, like adding in some D&D factors. (Which I've actually been thinking of a D&D apply fic, would anyone be interested in that? LOL) but I hope you all enjoy this story and love it as much as I do! I intend to have a lot of fun with this huge universe :)
