˚ ·˚ ESTELLE JUNE WINSDOR₊˚ˑ༄ figured the world out at a very young age. She figured boys out at an older age. She knew the difference between good and bad, love and lust, confident and cocky. Through all the bad stuff that was thrown at her in life she chose to be good, loving, and confident. She chose to think differently. She didn't believe lashing out at those around her would ever benefit her in any situation. No one was ever scared that one day she would snap like a cheap necklace.
The world around Estelle seemed to evolve, but she never did. Of course, apart from the bad things. One thing that really stuck with her was the type of love people felt before everything began to change. It was like being connected to someone as they would be with their best friends. She watched relationships now fall apart as quickly as they came, the connection never really there.
Men tried only to get in women's pants and then leave them. Estelle knew there were still good men out there, but in all 162 years she had been alive she could never find a true man, not one like she had fallen in love with in the past. They weren't thoughtful, or gentle and if she was being honest none of them were as handsome.
She didn't need someone who was perfect, but someone who really would treat her right, someone who brought her flowers, stared into her eyes and not her body, someone who really cared for her.
She thought about it many times in her life. She tried to think of the perfect man to spend all of her nights and days with, although only one special person came to mind. Estelle and Stefan Salvatore went back many years. They'd know each other since the day they were born, their father's were in business together.
As they grew up everyone knew them as friends, but behind closed doors they were much more. They had the love she keeps searching for. The kind you can never forget even if you want to. Her father never loved the idea of her having a partner, Stefan was different though. Even his father would comment about how they would fall in love one day, both parents always made jokes about them admitting their love for one another.
He was the only man her father ever approved of.
