quinn made her way to the home of the triplets, feeling a bit unsure of what to expect from her conversation with chris. despite having exchanged messages with him, she assumed he was not the most talkative person.

as she arrived, chris greeted her with a quiet "yo" before hopping into the passenger seat of her car and immediately pulling out his phone.

quinn couldn't help but feel a bit disappointed at the lack of engagement from chris. she tried to make small talk whilst she was driving by asking him if there was any specific place he wanted to go. however, he simply responded with a short "nope" and suggested they just walk around aimlessly, hoping to be recognized by someone.

quinn felt a bit frustrated at the lack of conversation coming from chris, but she decided to make the best of the situation and focus on the road.

it didn't take long before quinn pulled up to a very public park, hoping somebody would be there to post of chris and her being together.

she nudged him, bringing him back to reality as they pulled up to their destination. "let's go," she said, urging him to get out of the car. however, she couldn't help but notice that chris seemed more interested in his phone than their surroundings.

he rolled his eyes at her, annoyed at being interrupted by his phone usage. as he stepped out of the car, he waited patiently for her to do the same. But she stayed put, causing chris to grow confused. it didn't take him long to realize what quinn wanted him to do.

he muttered something under his breath, feeling a little embarrassed, as he walked around to her side of the car. chris opened the door for her, hesitating for a moment before offering his hand to help her out.

as she took his hand, a bright smile spread across her face, and he lifted her out of the car with great care. "it this is going to be a long-term thing, could you at least act like you like me, chris?" she teased.

He chuckled in response. "i'll do my best. but let's keep the PDA to only in public, okay?" he said as he shut the car door behind her.

her playful retort came swiftly. "well, i don't think we'll be holding hands just for the fun of it in private, will we?"

as he posed the question, a small smile tugged at the corners of his lips. he could sense quinn's confusion and almost laughed at his own foolishness. but he managed to hold back and dropped his arms to his side. in an attempt to make things less awkward, he reached out and grabbed Quinn's hand into his, interlocking their fingers together. the warmth of her hand and the gentle squeeze she gave in response was enough to ease his nerves, and they continued on their way, hand in hand.

they strolled around, chris and quinn gradually warmed up to each other, engaging in more conversations. besides this, there was still an air of awkwardness lingering between them, with chris struggling to break the ice and his responses remaining short and emotionless. but, quinn remained hopeful that things would improve as they spent more time together.

the park was teeming with people. but soon enough, their presence was noticed, particularly chris's, and teenage girls began flocking towards them, screaming and squealing uncontrollably. quinn wasn't surprised by this, but it was undeniable that the attention made things even more awkward between them.

As soon as they both noticed that the commotion had begun to die down, chris whispered, "should we head back?" she nodded in agreement and started walking back towards the car.

once they were inside the car, chris immediately took out his phone from his pocket. she shook her head, clearly annoyed that he couldn't live without it. however, chris seemed to have read her mind and said, "before you say anything about my phone, just look at this." he gently placed his phone on her lap, allowing her to see whatever had caught his attention.

'QUINN RAE SPOTTED WITH CHRIS                                        STURNIOLO'

numerous posts and comments flooded the social media platform, all centred around quinn and chris. even though there was the occasional negative remark, she couldn't help but feel a sense of joy. Maybe leo's plan wasn't as foolish as she initially thought.

chris interrupted her thoughts. "this attention is good, right?" he asked. "it lets more people question if we're actually together or not."

quinn's smile widened. "yes, it's more than good. it's perfect," she replied, passing the phone back to Chris. he took it, his eyes glued to the screen.

as they made their way home, the silence between them both was palpable. they both seemed to be lost in their own thoughts, and the occasional attempts at small talk only added to the awkwardness. chris, who had spent most of the ride glued to his phone earlier, was making a conscious effort to engage in conversation now, but it didn't seem to be helping much.

finally, they arrived at the triplet's home. she brought the car to a stop, but chris didn't immediately make a move to get out. instead, he seemed lost in thought, as if struggling with some internal conflict.

it was then that he made an unexpected invitation. "do you wanna come in for a little?" he blurted out, catching Quinn off guard. she raised an eyebrow in surprise, wondering why he would ask her inside when they had barely spoken a word to each other all evening besides from the walk.

"just so we can tell matt and nick how it went, you know," chris explained as if sensing her hesitation. It made sense, and she couldn't help but feel a little relieved. maybe this would help ease the tension between them.
