Our last day here in Tagaytay came, and right now we are on our way home. I'm glad that we have passed by so many local shops, so I bought some for our families and friends to share.

"You can have some sleep. I know you were tired last night," he maliciously said.

"Thanks to you," I mockingly said, and he laughed.

"It's not just me," he said.

"What did you say?" I ask, glaring at him.

"Okay, it's my fault only," he said, chuckling.

"I'm not sleepy," I said.

"Are you sure?" he asks.

"Yeah, so you can talk to me while you're driving," I said.

"Hmm," he chuckled.

"Are you happy?" he suddenly asks.

"Of course, it was the best five days of my life," I said.

"Really?" he asks, grinning.

"Yeah, and you're the reason why," I said, smiling as well.

"Ooh, that was good," he said.

"I know, right?" I said.

Finally, after 3 hours of long driving, we arrived at our house in Laguna. I don't know how he was able to do that because I can't. I think it's too boring to drive.

"Ma!" I yelled as I entered our house.

"Oh, you're back," she said as she saw me.

"Ma, I bought a lot of souvenirs," I said, and I showed them to her.

"Oh, thank you. I love it," she said.

"You're welcome," I said.

"Did you two eat? I cooked your favorite," she said.

"Are you hungry?" I ask Zeke.

"Of course, even if I'm not hungry, I will still eat as long as it's Auntie's cooking," he said.

Mama laughed at him.

"You don't have to say that," Mama said, still chuckling while going to the kitchen.

"You really know how to get on my mama's good side, huh?" I said.

"Of course," he proudly said.

"You guys can wait, right? I have to re-heat it because it's gone cold now. It's best to eat it when it's hot," Mama said.

"Yeah, we can wait," I said.

We dawdled in the kitchen for some time while Mama was busy in the kitchen.

After a couple of minutes, she called us to the dining table to eat.

"Auntie, as expected, it's so delicious," Zeke said.

"That's enough of you. You're flattering me too much now," Mama said, chuckling.

"It's all true, auntie," Zeke said.

"Oh, thank you, but stop it now or it'll go straight into my head," Mama said.

"Auntie, I want to thank you again for sharing your recipe with me," Zeke said.

"You're always welcome, son. How did it turn out anyway?" Mama said.

"It was all good, Mama. He cooked most of the time, but I helped him in some ways," I said.
