"Darling"
it's such an innocent name
yet,
sometimes it is used for less innocent intentions.
Like telling someone,
"darling, its completely normal!"
when truly,
it might not be.
or,
it may be used to degrade someone,
to make them feel less than they are,
to push them down when they are trying to grow,
"you shouldn't do that darling, its not meant for people like you"
Darling,
it can be used for such wonderful or hurtful things,
like a mother or lover saying,
"darling, I love you"
I can never trust enough to be someone's "darling"
no matter how much I wish I could be,
and have that person
who will tell me,
"darling, I love you."
