𝒞𝐻𝒜𝒫𝒯𝐸𝑅 1

I turned my head away from my window hello darkness and comfy....Feeling the fabric peel away from my skin I heard someone's voice slightly tug it back and snuggled back into place suddenly my blanket was ripped off of me. "Wake up Ikari!"

I opened my eyes and saw my sister Sarada holding my blanket and looking at me. I rubbed my eyes and stood up "Sarada I was up all day training let me rest." I yawned, pulling my hair out of my face Sarada folded her arms "Did you forget?" Sarada said looking at me with her eyebrows raised. "What?" "The Academy starts today" Sarada lifted her glasses back up.

"No Tomorrow it starts Sarada," I said laughing at her I got out of my bed and saw she was already dressed "Shit." I ran out of my room and started getting dressed I looked at myself in the mirror

I hope B-"Ikari! Hurry up" I sighed and walked "You don't have to yell Sarada gee," I said fixing my earrings Sarada grabbed my hand and took me downstairs "Bye Mom!" I yelled as Sarada took me out the door waving Sarada did the same "Bye Mom"

The Academy

"See they haven't even started roll call yet" I whispered at Sarada, "Now they are," Sarada whispered I rolled my eyes. "Sarada Uchiha." The speaker said, Sarada raised her hand and said here. The speaker called my name next and I raised my hand "Here" I said, "Boruto Uzumaki" I looked around looking for him where is he? "Boruto Uzumaki?" I guess he didn't show up. I turned back around suddenly a loud crash was heard by the Hokage Mountain

I turned around looking back at the Mountain "WHAT THE FUCK?" I yelled out seeing Boruto standing on a train "Boruto Uzumaki Here!" chatter and yelling were heard about Boruto, but I just stared at him. "Okay everyone now that that is settled we're gonna proceed with introductions and rules, my name is Shino Aburame, let's begin"

After our first day at the academy, me and Sarada headed home, on the way out I saw Boruto in the headmaster's office. Despite my father's warnings and me suppressing my feelings, I find myself drawn to Boruto he always seems to surprise me, something about him makes my heart skip a beat igniting a spark that I don't understand is this how mom felt about dad? I've tried my best to avoid him, but I think he noticed that I'm stalking him sometimes, fuck I don't know dad told me to stay away from him before he.....I don't know what I should do.

"Hey, Ikari are you coming?" Sarada said snapping me out of my thoughts, I looked up once more and looked back at Sarada "Uh actually I'm gonna have to talk with Sensei Shino about some training" I said holding the back of my head and smiling at her, "Hm." Sarada said touching up her glasses "I know you're lying, but I don't know why." Sarada said walking away from me. I sighed I'm glad she didn't investigate I found a bench by the entrance to the school and waited for Naruto

I had fallen asleep a few minutes later but was woken up by a familiar voice "Ikari? Y/n? Wake up" I opened my eyes and saw Boruto looking at me. I stood up and stretched "Hey Boruto," I said bringing my arms down, "Hey Ikari so....what are you doing?" Boruto said it was so awkward between us we haven't talked that much over the years. "Oh right, I was waiting for you." I said hitting my head, "Why?" Boruto asked me. My eyes shot open at his question can a girl not check on her friend without a reason? Why did I stay for him? "I wanted to know what happened sooo" I sparkled my green eyes and looked at him eagerly, Boruto turned his head "I got suspended"

"O-oh....Surprise you didn't get expelled " I slightly chuckled Boruto snapped his head back at me "Would you have preferred that Ikari" Boruto asked me, my eyes widening. He kinda seemed a little annoyed by that "What of course not Bor-" "Why are you avoiding me?" Boruto cut me off, I didn't know what to say I just looked at him "I'm not a-avoiding you." I finally got something out to him "Really? Because you've barely said anything to me in years aside from a simple hey or hi clearly you never want to confront me since you're always checking around every corner to see if I'm there" Boruto announced,

I folded my arms and looked at the ground gosh Boruto I would never want you gone, I wrapped my arms around his neck, hugging him "Sorry" I whispered into his ear, he didn't say a word to me he just hugged me back "B-Boruto you're squeezing me a little too hard....I guess you can continue."

Flashback

I haven't seen Dad in month's I miss him but he's gone....And I miss him I'm never gonna see him again. Tears rolled down my cheek usual I would've stopped by now but I didn't care anymore I can't believe I lost him

I closed my eyes still crying I suddenly heard footsteps coming up to me "Y/n?" I opened my eyes and saw Boruto. In front of me I quickly wiped my tears away not trying to show weakness "Hey Boruto" I said trembling a little "What's wrong?" Boruto asked me, "Nothing it's just the weather," I said smiling at him, Boruto sat down next to me and wiped away one of my tears

"What's wrong?" Boruto tilted his head my way with a smile I just looked at him and thrust myself into his chest crying "I miss my dad" I said trembling "He's gone I miss him"

I could feel Boruto looking down at me suddenly I felt a squeeze on my back and I grew closer to his chest  "He's gonna come bac-" I cut Boruto off before he could continue "No he's not...he's gone" I said quietly it was silent for a moment "Well until then I'll be you dad!" He exclaimed  I looked up at him smiling

I laughed "Hey Y/n why do your eyes look like a star and kinda red?" Boruto asked "Hm?" "Never mind guess it was my imagination" Boruto said smiling at me "Oh okay" I said Boruto pulled me up "Come on let's go to that new arcade!" He said pulling my hand,

I stopped and said "I can't I have to train" Looking down "No! You haven't hung out with me once this week you don't have a choice" Boruto said picking me up and taking me to the arcade I just laughed and let him. I did have a lot of fun that day Boruto was always there for me.

End of Flashback

"Ok, Boruto! That's enough I think I might pop if you continue" I exclaimed, pushing Boruto off of me "Oh. Sorry Y/n" Boruto said, he smiled at me but suddenly the look on his face changed from happy to terrified.

I looked around and saw Hinata Uzumaki I waved at her I don't know why he was so afraid "Hello Ms Hinata!" I bowed and looked at her with a smile to my surprise she just hugged me "Y/n I've missed you."

I hugged her back  "Sorry Y/n but we have to go" she let go looking at Boruto too with a wider smile "Let's go Boruto," Hinata said,

Boruto gave me a quick hug before leaving "Bye Boruto!" I shouted I turned back around and was stunned by the person in front of me "So that's why you wanted to stay back." Sarada
