LULU'S POV

after my interaction with brady on monday, we didn't speak for the rest of the week thank god. though, i couldn't stop thinking about your interaction. why did he just decide to apologize.

whatever, brady wasn't my top priority now or ever.

this week has not been it, so me and lia were decided to go to a party. it was hosted by chris a kid from our econ class, we don't know him well but he seems nice. i was freaking out about who is going to the party, specifically if the twins are going to it. i wouldn't mind if connor went, me and him have become closer again recently as we have classes together and mutual friends.

so far who i knew was going for my friends and people who i tolerate is, lia, eves, walker, xochitl!!! and that's it.

"i really hope the party isn't shit lia" i told my best friend while putting on blush.

"yeah me either, but i heard something that might make it shit..." she said

"lia."

"el."

"what is it."

"ugh fine. tootsie roll, AND bubblegum are gonna be there tonight." she said with a sorrowful look on her face.

tootsie roll. brady noon. the one person i was hoping to NOT see at this party. and bubblegum?! my ex jordan, who i completely forgot about.

"your joking? right lia."

"no i'm really sorry el"

"no it's okay, i'm not gonna get a man control my mood. this party is going to be fun, it will be fine"

"YES EL" she said

"come on lets get going, we gotta pick up the others!!" i said grabbing my bag and car keys then leading out my door, lia behind me.

we had made it to the party and i instantly spotted a familar, yet so sour face. brady noon, i don't even wanna say his name. so tootsie roll was there in the kitchen getting a drink as well.

"hey berkeley." he said

"hey noon." i said sourly

"can we talk?" he asked

"i told you i don't wanna hear it, brady."

"no listen eloise. i mean it."

everything in me wanted to leave the party right now, little did i know it would get worse, but a part of me wanted to hear him out. and that party had won me over.

"i'm listening brady."

"when-" he started and stopped. he stared behind me.
