Welcome potential campers! This book will be a written through Chat vote!
As a collective, please vote on which character you would like to follow through Camp, read on their backgrounds, Interests, and various personalities and vote on the one you like best!
This book will contain a mixture of images [drawn by yours truly] and written portions, at the end of the book all you lucky campers get to make decisions on how the book will go from here!
I don't have beta readers cause none of my irl friends watch camp camp and would relentlessly bully if I showed them my fanfics lol, so the majority of this will be [Dead Dove do not eat🕊]
!Important info!
- This adventure will take place around 2018
- all the character you can choose from will be 10 and have the same birthday: for simplicity.
- The camper will arrive at camp halfway through season 1
- And don't fret if your Camper doesn't get picked, I plan on making a 'what could've been' book for options not chosen <3
Now let's finally meet the Campers!!
Option 1: Elliott Bourne

Lives with two parents and 6 other siblings, and being in the middle means he doesn't get as much attention as he would like at home. He's gone through many, MANY phases to try and get his parent's attention; from pretending to be Emo to trying sports, to being an extra hand with his younger siblings, hell he's even pretended to be a vegetarian for a while, but his parents always have another sibling to attend too. While he understands why they can't possibly give him all the attention he wants, he can't help but feel a bit lonely. [;<]
Every summer he goes with his other older siblings to a large camp but this year his usual camp is under renovation and isn't fit for children at the moment so he and his older siblings were split up into different camps by CAMP Corp. It just so happens that he lands in Camp Campbell's Culinary camp!
Now while it might seem a bit strange, this is actually a part of his big plan! If he takes up culinary and he learns how to cook some really good food then he can cook for his family and will get more attention from his parents! I mean it's not like they can just eat his food and not say ANYTHING, right? Flawless plan.

Lives with a single father who works multiple jobs to keep them afloat. Since he can't spend a lot of time with her at home, he sends her to daycare her entire infancy until she can reasonably take care of herself at 7; she gets home, makes herself something to eat, takes a shower, does her homework, then watches DanTDM mod showcases, Markiplier's FNAF videos, or replays Undertale until she goes to bed at 2 am. She most definitely grew up on the internet, watching shit she definitely should not have had access to.
In school, she tends to make friends with teachers rather than kids her age which causes her to be labeled as a teacher's pet, though she doesn't mind not having in-person friends since she has online friends for that. Despite being more quiet and observant in person, on a suggestion from her teacher, she decides to join the band club at school. She learns a variety of instruments but adores playing the ukulele, and while her dad is happy that she is spending time outside, she still spends the other 6 days of the week in her room
While her father might not be there all the time, he does take note that it might not be very good for his kid to spend all day in her room for another summer; So he decides to sign her up at Camp Campbell's band camp! It sounds right up her alley and since it's outdoors then she will have to get off the internet for a while. [o7]
Option 3: Charlotte Ruiz Gonzalez

Lives with divorced parents, and as an only child she is spoiled beyond belief by both. She is out of touch and a bit snobbish, but not the worst kid ever, you know? Her dad wants to connect more with her but can't find any common ground. He takes note of her behavior and feels that she needs to experience at least some kind of struggle, or she might become some spoiled rich brat. Got to nip it in the bud before she became a teen lol.
Her father was in the Wood Scouts as a kid, and as his only child he would love nothing more than if his own kid went too, but since they're...well... Wood Scouts, they won't accept some prissy girl. The next best option would be some kind of wilderness camp, they are pretty close in teachings and would probably humble Charlotte a bit, plus it's on the same lake! So after a brief conversation with her mom and a couple of lawyers he successfully signs up Charlotte for Camp Campbell's Band Camp in the summer!
She goes kicking and screaming, but she makes it to camp. It's going to be a long summer, that's for sure.
