1. Bad Idea

❗️Cassis will act completely differently than in the actual official one because it's early on in the story as this is before the kidnapping and I think he would be a good/tsundere kid before undergoing what he did.

Since people are talking about the power gap of Cale in this chapter, to address any further complaints...

"Why the hell do I have to tag along with you guys?!" Cale slammed the table. "It's not like I have any business there! I'm no longer the commander! I have no reason to go!"

Alberu sweated upon seeing his behavior, if he had been just anyone else, he would've been executed in an instant for disrespecting royalty. "In order to form an alliance, it's best to have the commander— no, the hero, come along to discuss plans. Of course, Choi Han will be coming along as well."

Cale sat back in his chair with a poof sound and crossed his arms, "oh, so you're using me as a bargaining chip?" His voice filled with annoyance.

'As if you've never done that to me!' Alberu tried hiding his irritation behind a smile.

"Choi Han is the hero in public's eye, it's fine as long as he goes. But me? I'm nobody to them. Why would I be of help anyways?"

Alberu's hand gripped on the teacup he was holding. "The Pedelian head said they would like to meet the heroes of the Roan empire, that includes you."

He didn't actually request that, Alberu just wanted Cale to stay by his side to stop him from causing any troubles.

"Wouldn't you want them to become an ally, rather than an enemy?"

The Pedelian house, also known as the Blue Pedelian, is one of the five families that rule the newly developed empire of Roan, along with the Black Argece, Gold Vertium, White Fidellion, and finally the Red Crossman that the current emperor, Alberu Crossman, resides.

'How troublesome.' Cale thought. "Fine, you better not be planning anything bad." His decision changed rapidly after hearing that his peaceful slacker life could potentially be ruined.

'Got you.' Alberu shined his usual shiny smile.

A few days passed, the three along with a bunch of knights and servants started their venture to the Pedelian's main residence. The three rode on the royal carriage while the servants sat in a common carriage and the knights rode on horses that surrounded the carriages from any openings.

They finally arrived at their destination after 2 nights and 3 teleportation sites, it was a long travel. The Pedelians lived and ruled in their own, large territory just like any other house.

'It's not much smaller than the palace if all the buildings had been combined together.' Cale looked at the big, shiny white mansion from the front gate.

"Please come in, your majesty." The gates-keeper identified the passengers inside the carriage and allowed them access.

The horses pulled the carriages inside on signal of the coachmen. They got closer to the mansion until they stopped at one point, in front of the large building in the middle.

There were already servants lined up and ready to greet them, but most importantly, the Pedelian head along with his wife was there to greet them.

"Greetings to the rising sun of the Roan empire." Roussel Pedelian, head of house Pedelian, greeted Alberu by placing his hand on his heart while tilting his body down to a small bow.
