As Aatika retreated to her room, she reached for her old diary, seeking comfort in its familiar pages. Flipping through, her heart skipped a beat at the mention of Arhaan.

"Oh, where do I even begin? It was just another day at tuition, but little did I know it would turn into a rollercoaster ride of embarrassment and awkwardness.

First, Nazreen, the drama queen assistant, accused me of cheating out of nowhere! Can you believe it? I mean, I'm the last person to cheat; my parents practically drilled honesty into me since birth.

And then, boom! She slaps me! Right across the face! My cheek was still stinging from the shock when Arhaan, the mysterious senior everyone secretly swoons over, steps in.

Now, picture this: Arhaan, with his suave demeanor and irresistible charm, decides to sit next to me as the temporary supervisor. And there I am, trying to focus on the test, but my heart's doing the cha-cha because, well, Arhaan's right there!

Then, he starts teasing me! Like, seriously? He says, "Stop staring at me; your answers aren't written on my face!" Classic Arhaan, making jokes in the midst of chaos.

But wait, it gets better! I drop my ink pen, and it rolls straight onto Arhaan's pants, leaving a blue stain on his pristine beige pants! I couldn't believe my luck. And then, in a moment of sheer brilliance, I start rubbing his pants to get the stain off! Can you imagine the horror on my face?

And just when I thought it couldn't get any worse, Nazreen kicks me out of the classroom amidst the laughter of my classmates. I swear, I wanted the ground to swallow me whole right then and there...."

She smiled reading her own words that she wrote years back and tears rolled down her eyes.

His playful teasing and enigmatic presence had ignited a spark within her. Blushing at the realization, she admitted to herself: she had a crush on him. Each memory with him felt like a cherished treasure, and she couldn't help but wonder what the future held for them.

With a smile playing on her lips, she closed the diary, knowing that whatever destiny had in store, Arhaan would always hold a special place in her heart.

She couldn't deny the warmth that enveloped her when she thought of Arhaan, the way he effortlessly brought a smile to her face. But alongside that warmth lurked the bitter truth of reality—the reminder that Arhaan was not just a distant crush, but a married man with responsibilities she could never compete with.

As tears welled up in her eyes, she clutched Mia, her beloved companion, seeking solace in the comforting presence of her furry friend. "Do you think I can forget him?" she whispered, her voice trembling with emotion. "I'm so tired, Mia. Life is already so difficult."

Mia gazed up at her with understanding eyes, a silent source of comfort in the midst of Aatika's turmoil. With a gentle purr, she nuzzled against Aatika's hand, offering silent reassurance in the face of uncertainty.

Aatika sighed, her mind consumed by a whirlwind of thoughts and emotions. "Appa has passed away, and I live with Mom," she murmured, her voice barely above a whisper. "I can't even find a job because of the huge gap in my biodata. I always wanted to be a teacher, but nobody wants me. And now this..."

The weight of her circumstances pressed down on her, threatening to crush her spirit beneath its burden. With a heavy heart, Aatika buried her face in Mia's fur, seeking refuge from the harsh realities of life.

But even as despair threatened to consume her, a flicker of determination ignited within her. She couldn't change the past or erase the pain of her losses, but she could choose how to move forward. With Mia by her side, she found the strength to face the challenges ahead, one step at a time.

Drawing a deep breath, Aatika wiped away her tears and straightened her shoulders, steeling herself for the road ahead. "I won't let this defeat me," she declared, her voice tinged with newfound resolve. "I may not have all the answers, but I refuse to give up hope. Somewhere out there, a new beginning awaits, and I won't rest until I find it."
