CHAPTER 16 Infiltrating The Retreat House

Kinabukasan nagkamalay na din si Chelsea pero nanghihina pa din ito kaya kailangan niya pa ng bed rest. Kinausap ko si Christian kung pwede ko ba itong dalawin, mabuti naman at pumayag ito pero saglit lang ako nito pinadalaw. Hindi pa nga umiinit ang pwet ko sa upuan, sinundo na agad ako dahil may bible study daw. After ng bible study session namin, nagkaroon kami ng free time for ourselves.

Dito ko napiling pumwesto sa garden sa hindi masyadong matao. Pasimple akong nagbuklat ng libro at kunwari nagbabasa. Kailangan ko mag-ingat, nakakahalata na sila na may kakaiba sakin. Mas dumami ang mata na nakabantay sa akin ngayon. Hindi man halata pero nasa paligid sila. Hays kung magmamasid sila sana naman hindi yung halata.

"So what's the update, guys?" Mahina kong tanong sa kanila.

["Not good, Matcha."] Mojito said seriously.

"Why? Anong problema?" Takang tanong ko sa kanila.

["That medicine you send us, we got the result today and it turns out that it's not a weight-loss pill but a narcotic. According to the analysis report this drug is known as Hallucinogen. It's a drug that causes severe hallucination when being taken."] Forest said.

"What?! Are they crazy?" Gulat kong sabi sa kanila. Mukhang naalarma sila kaya nilipat ko sa next page ang binabasa kong libro at kunwari pinagpatuloy ang pagbabasa.

["Obviously, they are using it to brainwash the people there and make them believe that such god existed."] Mojito said.

"Peanut, that analysis report. Is it enough to issue a search warrant? We need to take down this fucking cult." I asked Peanu.

["Well, it's not a strong evidence. First we need evidence that this pill really comes inside that retreat house."] Peanut said.

["You mean kahit may result na tayo ng gamot, it's still not a solid evidence?"] Mojito asked.

["Yes. If we have at least anyone who can testify or an eyewitness, the police can issue as a search warrant."] Peanut explained.

"I'm the eyewitness." I said to them.

["Yes, sure pero naka-admit ka diyan. You need to file an official report personally. I supposed you know that already since you're a cop."] Peanut said.

"Nakaka-inis naman! Baka may mga connections kayo sa pulis?" Tanong ko sa kanila.

["Don't worry, I got you all. I'll just contact my cousin. Let's see if he can issue us a search warrant."] Mojito said. Nakahinga naman ako ng maluwag.

"How about Chelsea? Hindi na siya pwedeng magtagal dito. I think she's being drug continously. I saw it this morning. The nurse injected some liquid on her IV fluid." I said to them.

["That's dangerous for her health. It will result to health complications. Plus, she haven't taken any food and water for the past few days."] Forest said. Kinabahan naman ako sa sinabi nito. What to do?

["How about we will infiltrate the retreat house and takes Chelsea out?"] Mojito suggested.

"Good Idea. May alam akong way kung paano kayo makakapasok dito nang hindi nila nahahalata." Sabi ko sa kanila.

["How?"] Peanut asked.

"Peanut hindi ka pwedeng sumama. Delikado." Sabi ko sa kanya.

["Fine."] Peanut said. Mabilis talaga kausap ang isang 'to.

"I heard from one of the nurses na bukas ang schedule ng deliveries ng mga medical supplies nila. You can disguise yourselves as delivery stuff. You think you can pull it off?" I asked them.
