"How did you..."

"I came over tonight, but you were too busy sucking Noah's face to have noticed me..."

I know that Alec was trying to control his anger.
It took everything in me not to puncture a hole in his fucking face

"Alec, i..."

"You what, Amber?"

"I didn't kiss him back..."

"Stop fucking lying to me, Amber! I saw everything. You make me sick, you know what? I'm tired, Amber. I'm tired of everything you do to me. Maybe I shouldn't have even rejected Riley when she wanted..." He trailed off as I turned swiftly to look at him. His eyes widened at his mistake
"I'm sorry, baby, I...".

"No, it's okay," I said, opened the car door,, and stepped down. I wasn't going to waste my time with him when he had Riley. I was angry, but I wasn't going to cry. I know I was at fault too, but...oh! To hell with him! He could fuck all the girls in the city for all I care.

I walked down the street toward my house. I'll be there, at most in 20 minutes. My phone rang again, Eric. Again. I picked it up this time.

"Where the fuck are you, Amber? I've been trying to call you."

"Calm your balls down, dude. I'm coming home." I replied and cut the call. It was 10:11 pm, I shoved the phone into my pocket and continued my walk. It was so cold outside, I was shivering.

A car slowed down beside me, I didn't have to look to know who was inside. He wound the window down.

"Oh come on Amber, I'm sorry."

"You sure are," I said without turning.

"You're at fault too, you know?"

"I know I am," I replied. Alec sighed.

"Please get in, babe; it's cold outside."

"I'm not your fucking babe," I said, still walking. The car followed beside me.

"I'll make it up to you, I promise. Just forget what happened, forget everything I said."

"Is that even possible?"

"I know it isn't, but we can make it possible."

I didn't reply

" I'm not letting you walk."
